I had to work quickly for this image. I had to work really quickly in fact. The air was cold and the sky giving the gift of rain, something we get plenty of here in the Pacific Northwest. I've never been one to let either factor stop me from working on images, but it does on occasion speed up the process.
I take a lot of images along the Columbia River, that mighty body of water that borders the states of Oregon and Washington. It's a fascinating place filled with endless trails and landscapes that change from one mile to the next. I've been going out there for nearly a decade now and still find it just as magical as the first day I saw it. That is a rather amazing thing when you think about it.
